Dramatify is the first integrated platform to support professional screenwriting and non-fiction script formats in Hebrew. This allows projects working in Hebrew to handle scripts, breakdown, scheduling, creative departments, and on-set workflow smoothly throughout the entire production process.
Just like our support for Arabic, Hebrew script support is built into Dramatify’s drama screenplay tool,
AV scripts and multi-camera live & studio scripts, and integrates with all other production features.
Script types for Hebrew #
Hebrew multi-camera live & studio rundowns #
For studio-based or live productions, Dramatify supports Hebrew in our advanced multi-camera live & studio rundown script format used for:
- Galas and award shows
- Live entertainment programs
- Talk shows
- Current affairs
- Studio productions
- Variety and game shows
These scripts support complex cueing, timing, rundowns and multi-column layouts, plus integrations for teleprompters, vision mixers and graphics — all adapted for Hebrew.
Drama screenplays for Hebrew #
Dramatify supports fully formatted Hebrew screenplays for both feature films, drama series and short films. Hebrew screenplays follow the American industry screenplay format. Dramatify uses Courier, the standard screenplay font.
Because Hebrew does not have uppercase letters, elements traditionally written in uppercase — such as scene headings (slugs), character names and transitions — are formatted in bold instead. All common screenplay elements are available with one click. They behave exactly like their Latin-script equivalents, adapted for right-to-left writing where relevant.
To import an Arabic screenplay, you’ll need an .FDX file from WritersDuet (web) or Dialogue (MS Word).
Hebrew non-fiction scripts (AV scripts) #
Dramatify fully supports Hebrew in non-fiction script formats, commonly known as
AV scripts. These are ideal for:
- Documentaries
- Commercials
- Corporate videos
- Music videos
- Trailers and promos
- Storyboarded sequences
- Reality and factual shows
The AV script format is flexible and allows side-by-side columns, notes, visuals and timing,
all fully compatible with Hebrew.
Integrated Hebrew support across the production workflow #
Hebrew screenplays and non-fiction scripts connect seamlessly with the rest of Dramatify:
- Breakdown and tagging
- Scheduling episodes, scenes and days
- Team communication
- Call sheets and script sides
- On-set tools and reports
This enables an end-to-end production in Hebrew from development to delivery. View more details in the features section.
