Dramatify separates personal information from production information to adhere to the European GDPR legislation. Here is how that works:
New members #
When you add a new person – without a previous Dramatify profile – to your production, you can add and edit their personal information, such as their image, address, representation, food preferences, etc, or add the bare minimum of information. At some point, you invite them to join your production on Dramatify.
When a cast or crew member logs in to Dramatify for the first time, they “claim” their profile and take over managing their personal information to comply with legal requirements. It’s then their responsibility to update and add to their personal information.
Members with existing profiles #
If you add crew and cast members from your network or who already have a Dramatify profile, their personal information will already be recorded in Dramatify. The members themselves are responsible for the correctness of that information.
But I need to update or change information! #
Just as you can’t change another person’s LinkedIn or Facebook profile, you can’t change the personal information of an existing Dramatify member. Instead, send them a message of what need to be updated in order to comply with your production needs.
